AVANCED FACILITATION is a two-day workshop for those who have had introductory or basic facilitation training, preferably Donna Ching’s “Learning to Lead Collaboratively” workshop. Participants will add to their repertoires of tools and explore new concepts to benefit their work. They will also exchange experiences and ideas with other practicing facilitators through hands-on exercises and opportunities to discuss lessons learned. Presenters: Donna Ching of the University of Hawaii – Manoa and Lily Bloom Domingo of Hawai‘i Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations.
The workshop is from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 16 (registration opens at 8 a.m.), and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, Honolulu. The cost is $200 for HANO and Aloha United Way Partner Agencies and UH faculty and staff, $300 for non-members. Workshop manuals and morning and afternoon snacks are included.
