The draft Hawai'i 2050 Sustainability Plan was unveiled at a meeting attended by approximately 1,000 community members on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. The plan is now open for public review and comment.
"We want to hear from you about the plan - what you like, what you don't like, what makes sense, what's missing, and what could be improved," said the task force in an email to participants who have contributed to the plan.
"Hawai'i 2050 needs your contribution to the conversation about sustainability and how to best prepare for the economy, society and environment of future generations," The task force said.
